We haven’t worked with an architect before. How do we get started?

Building a home can be both exciting and overwhelming. Guidance from an architect will help you maximise the site’s full potential and understand any limitations. Get in touch to book a free initial consultation to meet on-site, discuss ideas and receive our recommendations.

What steps are involved?

Once given the green light, SI.DE leads the project through conceptual design, planning and approvals. We then move into construction, overseeing the build to ensure it aligns with your vision. Our collaborative approach invites client input, making the experience enjoyable while ensuring the project’s longevity.

How long does a project take?

Project timing can vary. On average, the design process takes six to nine monthsto complete, with on-site construction ranging from 12 months upwards,depending on the project scope. We collaborate with you to establish a realisticschedule and manage every stage thoughtfully.

How do you charge?

We charge on a fixed-fee basis and provide clear, detailed cost estimates for every stage.

Can you recommend builders and other trades, and will you work with my chosen builder?

SI.DE can help you select tradespeople from our trusted contractors and suppliers. We also welcome partnering with your preferred builder or other trades.
